Hyper-inn Takamatsu Ekimae

The hotel was perfected located to get an early bus. There were lots of restaurants nearby. I was comfortable in my room and the staff were friendly and handled the check-in process efficiently.

The mattress of the Japanese style room is not clean. The air condition is noisy can’t get well sleep.

You can also ask the staff for the bike rental service, but I didn't have a chance to do that since my route during the day demanded train and ferry rides.Price/Quality ratio met my expectations.Nice choice for those who want to save some money and have a pleasant stay in Takamatsu.

I would say smoking rooms are a bit less comfortable than the non-smoking ones (I tried both), but that is what you have to be just prepared for. No big deal - and it is convenient for those who smoke, of course.

The room and the toilet are too small

It was a perfect location right near the station but only minutes to the castle.The staff were so helpful and the breakfast was fabulous! Beds soooo comfy!

Really nothing

Location is perfect for those who want to use Takamatsu station or Ferry terminal.Room was nice and tidy.

Breakfast was good enough but they didn't fill foods and cleaned them up so early.Toilet flush was quite weak.

The hotel is near to Takamatsu Station. The room size is good. Welcome drinks are provided. Breakfast is good too.

The breakfast seating area is quite small. May not have enough seats for all the guests.

Washing machine free, microwave, good size room, bedside power outlets, bedside lamp , shampoo conditioner and shower gel supplied, lift , good bed

Old decor. Older bathroom and small, basin was cracked and ? mould in cracks, stains on carpet in corridors, very noisy, could hear noises in other rooms and outside. The stairs near my room were completely open to the outside and even on 7th floor with door and window closed you could still hear the noise. Only 1 pillow and 1 towel

The location just outside the station and close to restaurants and ferry terminal. Good use of amenities too.

Nothing really. Staying here after spending 6 nights in a hostel felt like a paradise.

The location was great, 5 minutes from the train station. Breakfast was good.

The water temperature of the shower, either too hot or too cold. One of the staff, the young man was not helpful. He refused to provide any help on restaurant booking and being so hesitated to keep our luggage when we arrived before the check in time. But other staff, especially the middle aged man, were helpful.

Location is the best in town. Hotel is close to train staion, and you can see the hotel sign in front of the station. It is also close to Takamatsu castle park as well. Also several good restaurants are near by. main shopping and business places are about 10-15min walk and easy to navigate. Breakfast was simple, but it had everything I need.

Hotel was a bit old. Hope it will upgrade somehow.

Clean and convenient location

Strong Smoky smell in the room. Sad to know that there is no non smoking room

I dont like giving bad ratings due to the weight each review carries. However the hotel assistant was trying to talk me out of leaving my bag at the hotel after i checked out. Now days i find this to be common practice for the hotel to accept your bags on check out (paid or not paid). I didnt like that he tried to talk me out of it and that i felt liek a burden and thus took my bags instead.

Position

Old tired foyer and front deskFront desk, lift and corridors stunk of cigarette smoke. Cold windy rainy day arrived early sent away in the rain, struck 4.00 check in, very inflexible Breadfast advertised , but not available on the days we stayed.

Breakfast is good. Location is very convenient.

We are on the second floor looking out to a busy road, anyone walk pass can look into our room

The hotel is conveniently located near the Takamastu JR train station. The area has quite a few eatery options such as “Meriken-y”a udon noodle house. The décor in the room feels a bit dated but it is spacious and clean. The breakfast offers both Japanese and Western items. The breakfast items change slightly every day, and I thought it was quite good. The staff in this hotel is very helpful and friendly.

The dryer took quite a long time for clothes to get dry.
